Another experience of PDA (Public Display of Authority) from my Wife.

i had a totally "submale" experience at the Race today but first kudos to Milka Duno (above) for finishing 14th out of 21 drivers in her rookie debute. That's beating 7 men for those of you who might be scoring. (LOL) Kudos also to my Heroine Danica Patrick for finishing 7th today, a remarkable feat after the disasterous pit incident she had with a teamate early on. Still trying to figure out what happened there.
Anyway, the experience i'm sure many of you will find interesting occurred to me before some friends and i went inside the track for the race. At the track you are allowed to bring in beverages (even alcoholic ones) as long as the container is below a certain size. Well after getting out of our vehicle my Wife filled up Her girlfriend Carmen's rather large purse with lots of cans of coke and beer and a bottle or two of mixed drinks. She then handed it to me and matter-of factly said "Here, carry this in." So basically i had just been ordered to carry around a large
overly full purse in front of two close guy friends and 60,000 other people LOL.
It really didn't bother me too much until i got to the entrance to get my bag checked. There a nice looking college age girl who was checking bags looked at me and said "Hello sir, my I check your Ummm....Purse?" "Umm sure" i replied nervously, hoping that my face was already red enough from sunburn to hide my embarrassment. She was looking so quizically at me that i could tell she felt awkward and noticed she barely even looked inside my purse before ushering me through to get to the next person.
Unfortunately for me i wasn't the only one who noticed the incident. Some of my friends were behind me and laughing hysterically about what had just happened. And i had to admit it was rather funny and i was actually glad to see my friends having so much fun, even if it was at my expense. Such is the life of a being a helpmate.
